Verizon Update 4/05/05

A.  Forbes.com

Verizonpathetic has received the accolade of being one of the ten best anti-corporate websites on the Internet by Forbes.  The article highlights other interesting websites that focus on the shortcomings of a few other well known companies: http://www.forbes.com/2005/03/07/cx_cw_0308hate_print.html .

B.  Credit Repair

It has been increasingly common for us to receive emails from consumers after it is too late to prevent Verizon from affecting their credit.  In the event that Verizon has placed a blemish on your credit history, rest assured that there are effective steps for removing it.

A website called planetloan.com has the entire process broken down step-by-step.  If you or anyone you know is facing this issue with Verizon or any other company for that matter, visit this link and you will be on your way to rectifying the problem: http://www.planetloan.com/library/credit_repair_removing_1.html

C.  Wireless Contracts

Unfortunately, consumers are often victims of the fine print in their service contracts.  Wouldn't it be nice to see the agreement prior to walking into the store?

Consumersunion.org has placed the service contract of every major wireless dealer on its website.  We strongly suggest you view the agreements if you have an intention of purchasing new service or upgrading your current plan: http://www.consumersunion.org/pub/core_telecom_and_utilities/000732.html

D.  (Another) Pending Class Action

Verizonpathetic has again been contacted by an attorney in the hopes of launching another suit against the conglomerate.

This particular suit involves individuals who have cancelled service due to changing residences yet still continue to be billed and ultimately turned over to a collections agency.  Please contact verizonpathetic.com if you would like further information.
