Well I had sent a fax to them so I would not be billed for my service... So I did not hear back from them I knew that they should follow up on a call back and they never did... So I Called them back and asked they said they got the fax... So then about a month later I get this bill back and it says U owe us money to disconnect... So I call back up come to find out no fax had been sent.... So I send another fax and the third one they finally get... Then they send me a bill for a 1.79 ..... Service sucked where I lived at... Always dropping calls...

It was supposed to be free long distance and no roaming charges i got a bil for over 350.00 dollars and there was no way in hell i can afford that with 3 kids so i didnt pay it and now its over 515.00 dollars.So i called they said i got charged 175.00 for early termation charges THERE IS NOTHING IN MY CONTRACT ABOUT EARLY TERMATION CHARGES. Now i go through sprint and have been for about 1yr now and have not had a problem my bill is the same every month. Iwill never choose verizon again or recommend them to anyone i know.

Jan/27/04BradHenderson,IAI found that by making a small change to my service, such as adding more minutes I could choose a 1 year rather than a two year contract. Call in and make any change to your service and you should be able to do likewise.

Jan/26/04AngieFrankfort,InOne year into my contract my phone quit working. It was going to cost more to buy another phone or cancel my service so I elected to finish paying my contract. When I sent the last check in I put on my check final payment. I continued to receive bills so I called several times to cancel. My husband call several times. We didn't won't this to damage our credit so we kept paying until they finally got the hint. I will do without a phone before I use Verizon for service.

I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for 6 years and have two cell accounts with them. My problems started last August when I increased service and minutes on my one account. VW continued to bill me for the previous plan, charging me overages. Since Aug. 2003 I have been OVERCHARGED $109.24 in Sept.; $157.47 in Oct.; $166.80 in Nov. and $605.96 in Dec. 2003. Most of these have been due to incorrect billing - they are billing me for charges that should be covered in my plan.This has been confirmed by VW "customer care" representatives Shandria, Danielle, Michele, Courtney, LaWanda and another Michele who is the "Assistant Manager" respectively. Each time the customer care rep. gave me the actual amount due and I paid it. However, the incorrect invoicing continues and the credits to my account are either incorrect or delayed. I received a call yesterday from Verizon Wireless Financial Services urging me to contact customer care because my account was so "past due"! Unbelievable. My next correspondence is to the FCC, my State Representative, and the Florida and Georgia State Representatives. I'm also contacting an attorney.

We just got the bill and paid it and a couple of days later they left a message on our answering machine that said we needed to dial *228 to receive this free upgrade from them to increase our roaming area or something like that. We didn't know before that, however, that we needed to do that and as far as I'm concerned, if I find out that my bill increased as a result of not knowing about this *228 thing, then the upgrade was not free. I paid them for it.

I work for an outsource company that is contracted for verizon wireless customer service in the west area but I pretty much have access to anything verizon wireless. I am setting up this e-mail account to help people out. I sit all day and watch the retarded customer service reps where I work not give a shit about any of VZW's customers but I am here to tell you that I do. If you have questions, ask me. I have this crazy idea that customers come first and have been going out of my way for VZW from day one. Verizon Wireless screwed me over and threated to turn my father over to collections, so he paid the bill that was never owed in the first place, just to get Verizon off his back. Oh, they also came back after him after he cancelled out his cel phone, Verizon said, you are now in a 2- year contract, when at the time he had cancelled his contract was about to end. Verizon will stick it to you regardless if you like it or not.

Don't forget that they still have a 1-year contract available, but for them to sucker you in to such lousy service and provide you with nothing but problems this is the way they stick ya is with the 2-year contract and don't give you the option of a 1-year contract. Verizon reps are trained to lie through there teeth to the customers instead of telling the customer the flat out truth about how lousy there phones and service are...Oh, don't forget, if you haven't already received harassing messages with voulger language from a Verizon rep your one of the few lucky one's. Hopefully Verizon will hold there word from my suggestion to make improvements to there customer service and how they conduct business in a professional way with there customers. Verizon, you have a very, very long way to go before you begin showing any improvments. Never found out who cashed the money order cause it costs 40.00 to put a tracer on it so, I lost 60.00 never paid the bill. I called customer service and first they said they would credit my account then they said they never recieved the payment and now Verizon turned it over to a collection agency. I quit verizon, and have a boostmobile phone now. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever pay you Verizon.

Every company screws up subscription charges, if you could read, all credible sources will tell you as high as VZ and VZW mistakes are, there the lowest in the industry not to mention their correction rate is also the highest. Second, the guy from Jersey was right, you all can't spell. Third, when your cell phone breaks, guess what, its your goddamn responsibility. When your TV breaks, you don't blame the CATV provider? Even if they sell you the phone, they don't make it. Go to another carrier and see what happens when you need your phone fixed. Got T-Mobile? Go to the gas station you bought it from cause they don't have company owned stores. Same for Nextel. Sprint charges you $3 bucks to stay on hold for tech support for 30 minutes just to be told you have to send your phone in for repair. VZW is the only company with a large company owned store footprint with technicians and customer service reps. In closing, if your gonna cry and moan about every little mistake, then go to another carrier, get massive dropped calls, wait for your handset to break and get no help (cause they all do, cell phones are made like s*it) and then still get the occasional billing errors. Get bent losers *Oh by the way, don't bitch how their DSL sucks, cause ALL dsl sucks, there are about 10 places it actually works in the entire country and it doesnt matter who your provider is.

Verizon keeps builing me for over usage and suggests that I upgrade to a plan with more minutes but I still go over my minutes; they claime and I am not on the phone making phone calls for that long of time they are billing me for. Verizon claimes that I am in a 2 year contract with them, but I never signed a contract and I've told them that. They told me that my phone bill is the contract,which is straight out a lie. I agree, something must be done to finally put a stop to a company that are nothing but con-artists.

I never had problems in college understanding, but I can't understand them, so I just pay. I never use even half my minutes but always owe more than the monthly agreed upon fee. 5/21/03ScottPleasanton,CAVerison, the worst customer service problems (billing) I have ever experienced. The only time I have ever experienced a company this bad was when I had a credit card from Providian, they constantly were trying to charge late fees. Everty month I would call and they would drop them. They wound up losing a class action court case and have since stopped these actions (I cut up the card). Verison is way worse. Wrong billings, wrong long distance charges. this last moth they misapplied my payment to an account that has not been used for years (apparently they don't take the old accounts off the computer but issue a new account when you upgrade. Paid by credit card to give me time to find out what happen to my check and then they lost the credit card payment. I have a confirmation number but they are unable to track by the confirmation numbers. Apparenty they hand these out just to make us feel good. Went to the local store and started talking to people who were thinking of purchaing a phone.................I tell you what , that was fun to see them get upset instead of me.
5/21/03Olesyarochester,ny My mom has a verizon phone in denver, and it sux, she constantly drops calls and cant move her head while she's on the phone, cause if she does- she looses the reception. She had her phone replaced twice now. I on the other hand have always been with Voicestream (now T-mobil). Me& my hubby are on family plan and can call everyone with a t-mobil service for free. (long distance is free also) Works pretty much everywhere and the phones are bulletproof!. Go t-mobil:)

I"ve moved around a bit. Every time I moved, I call to change everything and get a new number. I thought I paid all past due amounts because I still have a phone with them. 5/20/03CNFargo,NDM.C. I have friends and family around the US and everyone I've talked to from the West Coast to the East Coast has had nothing but problems with Verizon. Reception and roaming are the 2 biggest problems. I've heard better things about Cingular then I have of any other wireless company.

Good" Then he switches from talking to playing a game, once he crosses the bridge then he say's again, "Can You Hear Me Now?". I would like someone to explain to Verizon's customers who have been wanting to know why this guy claim's to have people able to hear him? 5/18/03EthanFond du Lac,WII ended up getting massive roaming charges because they required me to go to their nearest reatail store (1 1/2 hours away) to get the roaming list updated. And they refused to refund me.
